Does the job! Comes apart for cleaning. Says it can go in dishwasher....

Good product, but we should have kept the spare parts from the old Easy Chop. I think they changed the plastics a little, because this one feels a bit different compared to the old one. Works fine.

This is the second slap chop I have bought--the first in 2007. I finally chopped up the plastic shield that went with the first one. The slap chop is my go-to tool for chopping vegetables and nuts--and so handy. I keep it where I can just pull it out when needed. Easy to clean. And I think this one may be sturdier than my first.

This Easy Chop Slicer is a gem!! It is nice and sharp, yet has features that keep it safe to use. It is a bit on the expensive side, but worth every penny, especially if you buy it on JOOPZY. It will stand up to the test when you get it out to chop something. It really goes to work. One unusual thing I use it for is to chop my little dogs dry food. She has a gum problem that makes it painful to eat the dry kibble, so i hit that thing and it only takes about four times to crunch it up so she can eat it without a problem. This slap chop has saved me a lot of time in the kitchen. It's a great kitchen helper.

Great chopper for coarsely to finely grated veggies, fruits, cheese etc..... whatever you need it for. Better than a food processor because the food gets chopped but not liquefied.
