WE got this for my 7-year old who likes to build her own drum sets out of containers and use chopsticks for drum sticks. She loves it!! We love that she can plug in headphones! ? It feels durable, has nice drum sticks, and my daughters like the record/playback function. You can also plug in a cellphone and drum to actual music.

I'm a beginning drummer and purchased this set so I could practice at home in a condo. It's very different from playing on an acoustic drum kit, however it's very helpful in that I can work on my timing, independence, practice grooves and so forth.

Works great, sounds great. Fun for the kids and the husband who used to play drums in a band. This is not a replacement of a professional set, but it is great to learn on and the sound is surprisingly good for what this is.
