Very good alternative to regular watercolor pans, and with a very large water brush. Nice colors. Work perfect outside.

If you’re looking for convenience then this is for you. Don’t expect “artist quality” paints, but its a step up from student grade paints. The downside is thst you can’t replace the colors once you’ve used them up. They should have considered replaceable pans.

The colors are bright and transparent and you just need to touch with with a wet brush for tons of color (no prewetting or spraying needed.) I just got them the other day and have done a few sketches which I will attach below. I think these would make great gifts and stocking stuffers too! I fully intend to try and refill the pans when they run out but even though they are shallow I don’t see that happening anytime soon. *The ONLY downside I see is that there is no lightfast info so these are best for sketchbook work or other applications where you are not concerned with fading.

The packaging alone got me. What a fascinating little set. I bought these on impulse because the packaging is so uniquely cute! And I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the paint. I wasn’t expecting professional grade, but they are indeed nice for what they are. They bloom and blend well. There’s an amazing range of colors for the price. And just a beauty to behold. I loved them instantly. There’s not a lot of mixing space, but every color you should need is somewhere in this set, so I don’t suspect I’ll be mixing much. The water brush has a large capacity. The little trays don’t appear to lock in place, so they may fan out a bit in your bag. I kept the little plastic box they came in to help with that for now.
